Additional Details:
Hear me out, PK may be aging but a shake up would be great for him and could possibly bring him a career year and maybe winning lord stanley with his hometown team!
NJD
  1. Der-Arguchintsev, Semyon
  2. 2023 3rd round pick (TOR)
2.
TOR
Kefoot is a quailty 2nd or 3rd line center and can play in key moments and put up 40+ points.
    3.
    TOR
    1. Fleury, Marc-André ($3,500,000 retained)
    Additional Details:
The Knights sure need 3.5M off their books since last offseason playing NHL 21 with the Salary cap with signing AP.
    VGK
    1. 2021 5th round pick (TOR)
    Additional Details:
I think its fair to say we all feel a little shaky with Freddie probably being let go of and just think Campbells going to be another Andrew Hammond even know Campbell has a 17-2-2 record. We could need backup even if he stays on a good record.
    4.

    1. Paul, Nicholas
    2. 2022 4th round pick (OTT)
    OTT

    Additional Details:
The Leafs would love someone like Nick Paul in our lineup and trading Holls 2M contract would be amazing for us and Andersons not going to make the Leafs lineup this upcoming season so getting a soild 3 liner for a bit overpaid 3rd pairing D man and a young winger would be a good trade

this doesnt fix anything, the defence is worse, especially on the right side, the bottom 6 is at best the same and the goaltending is way too expensive for how unpredictable MAF is year to year

    OTT declines.

You said why in your description.

Why would OTT trade an incredible 3rd liner with a year of term, for an overpaid 3rd pairing D and a kid who cant crack the roster?

Dont trade a quality prospect in Der-Arguchintsev for a guy like Subban.

And Fleury you wont be able to get him that easily

    🙁uh

This creates other issues and is disappointing

    - Sandin and Lijegren are ready and looking good

    - so many of the acquired guys are aging, overrated

    - fleury was sheltered by vgk this year and is very old

    - can't we all agree Engvall > Turris right now? 😐

    - package the assets traded here for better players

Kris Russell isn't even good enough to warrant a -

I really like the Subban energy there but gosh

I'd reckon this AGM implies he'd get 50 total games and about 17 minutes per game unfortunately
    Sigh😔

We have no need for Der-Arguchintsev
But we do need Subban unless young RHD coming back.

You can have turris for future consideration but I think the oilers are better off not doing the rest of it.

Probably because Holl isnt a 3rd pairing defender or over paid, and Anderson cant crack the leafs line up. a line up that is more solid now than it was when 1st line Senator Connor Brown was a 3rd liner.

Either way, the leafs dont need a 3rd liner rocking a shooting percentage spike more than they need a 2nd pairing defender.

How is Holl overpaid? Also he's been top 4 all year.

Holl's contractual value aside, highgly doubt Ottawa's interested in Anderson and I also doubt Ottawa isn't on his no trade list. When you add on the fact that Ottawa's right side seems to be set for next year I dont see a fit at all.

Not sure how you could refer to Paul as riding a shooting percentage spike when he put up the exact same number of points in the exact same number of games last year.... and they were his first two full years in the league. Even if its Holl for Paul and a 4th Ottawa says no. I'd still have a hard time seeing Ottawa pull the trigger one for one. And if youre saying that Holl is playing top 4 then Toronto likely would say the same, not much of a fit at all.

We have a half dozen guys with better AHL production lined up. Just because our 1st line isn't good, doesn't mean we don't have depth out the Ass.

And if you think you're acquiring Paul for the offensive production this isn't even a conversation worth continuing

Youre 100% right. My bad. I was going off memory on Holl's contract and for some reason had him @ 1.5x

I was thinking more than 10M over 3yr and turned off it
