Taylor Hall isn't signing for 6 million.

I like Fluto a lot, but this article was not his best work. Hall, Rask, and Krejci all probably get more (or in the case of Krejci there are performance bonuses). I don't see Reilly re-signing long-term and that's quite a raise to give him. Carlo probably gets more money and term. Fluto has Kase's QO wrong - its $2.6MM. But the worst thing of all is suggesting that the Bruins will trade DeBrusk, with his value in the toilet, and then replace him by giving Ritchie $3.75MM?! There is no way Ritchie is worth that much and trading DeBrusk this summer is a lose-lose scenario.

He might. I see 6.5.

Kind of hard to pay him more than Marchand and Pastrnak to be your 2nd line winger.

Yes, I think he could get more. How much and where become the issue. He wants to be in Boston. He wanted to sign here last offseason, but Bruins told him they had to make moves and with Covid, he took the financial security. It appears to really like winning.

They will be down Ritchie or Lauzon to Seattle too.

ALso - almost no way Lauko isn't on the team.

Doesn’t if feel kind of inevitable that he signs under market in boston? It’s pretty clear thats where he wants to be.

Fluto started out as a decent reporter. Now he’s a glorified food critic that occasionally talks about hockey. He stinks at his job.
