Good value. Only question is: what do the Sabres think of Rossi? Passed over him once but it's a lazy take to think that means they don't want him. Still, says something about where they saw his value which could hurt versus a comparable office.

It's a lot to give up, and more than I want to give up because of Eichel injury, but it's probably fair. Not sure I like this Dumba trade, not value wise but Niku isn't a piece that interests me.

I think this is pretty dang close to what it would take for Eichel. Just a question on whether or not Guerin wants to do that.

For anyone that's hung up on Rossi, consider him and Boldy interchangeable in this package. Nobody knows which of those Adams would want more, but they're both Tier I prospects, so it doesn't really matter. A fair assumption is Rossi since he's a Center.

Wonder if they would just run into the same issue with Fiala where he does not want to stick around. He's an established player.

Really think that deal makes sense for both teams. Rossi + Fiala would be so nice for Buffalo to begin a rebuild around, and Eichel with Kaprizov would just be absolutely unfair. Question for me is, does Rossi lose value due to the issues he's had with covid? Very thankfully he's on the ice doing much better, but it was scary for a bit so idk if that'd make a team hesitate. Also, I think Rossi + Fiala as the foundation pieces makes a bunch of sense, I do think especially if other teams are involved, would maybe have to throw a condition on that 2nd to become a first, and maybe a more suitable prospect but that's all situationally based. Did a mock trade very similar to this

Wild aren't trading dumba to their hated rivals in jets to get back players wild don't need or won't play on wild

Niku is a winger wild don't need or want

Kristian is another winger wild don't need, much less a lw winger

Wild have zero room or need for wingers much less two . So no from Minnesota wild

FYI Niku is a D-man, not a winger. Your points still stand though. Wild wouldn't make that trade with the Jets.

They should trade Dumba for Eichel instead of Fiala
I think the point of acquiring eichel is for him to play with kap and fiala
