Reinhart has more value than Boeser. So if you wouldn't trade Boeser for a package don't propose it for Reinhart.

Problem is Yzerman took Staal, for a 2nd, at less cap hit because they needed a LHD with experience. Ericksson has a bigger cap hit and brings nothing to the team. So a 2nd and 3rd gets you a cap dump of 6 million hit asking for Rasmussen on top os really a bad look. Vacouver has cap issues and nobody is just going to take on that cap hit for nothing.

You have brought up an excellent point. A lot of users now only care about their own team and don't take the time to look at the other teams needs or the other teams roster. This is way I take the time to welcome new users when I come across one and tell them not to take anything personal. Recently I've try to explain that all new users overvalue their favorite team and it takes some time to get the value right and not to pay much attention to the criticism on their first post. The people willing to take the time to learn or even just look at the other teams roster see the criticism on their 1st post and say F*** this and never even bother with a 2nd post.

Exactly. When proposing trades it's important to not only look at the other team's rosters, but listen to what their fans are saying. They know their teams just like we know our team. Too many posters get their backs up too soon and don't value what the other person is saying. All fanbases are going to have idiots who only want to disagree for the sake of disagreeing. The whole "look at me I need attention" thing. But I listen to what most fans are saying so I can create a better roster next time. Plus it's a great way to learn more about other teams and players.

I agree I still try to read every post which is easy now between the TDL and draft but leading up to those events you walk away from your computer and come back and there are 5 new pages ACGMs.
