again no cap space for the Canucks to do this unless Seattle claims Dumba which is stupid for the Canucks because they are essentially trading the 35th overall pick for nothing

If the Canucks get Dumba then they are replacing Dumba with either Juolevi or the Chaos Giraffe Tyler Myers because why would leave him unprotected when he would be 2nd or 3rd best defenseman and once again only $3 million difference

Wild aren't doing this at all

Wild aren't taking on a bad player with trash contract, a 4th liner for dumba

So no from Minnesota wild

If he is taken in the expansion draft which he will then they lose him for nothing, so what’s better a 2nd round pick and cap dump to make the cap numbers work or nothing after Seattle takes him?
A 2nd rounder for a player you are going to lose for nothing is a smart play, unless you like giving away players that have trade value

This is true however you could try to get a team to bite on Suter or you give up more for Dumba this isn't quite enough for him

Or you know wild can protect him, or pay to protect him

Wild aren't trading dumba for a 2nd round pick, & cap dump

So how are the Wild going to protect Dumba with so many defenceman and forwards with NMC that the player has to waive?
Also if you read the below article the writer explains the Wild have defenseman in the pipeline to take Dumba's spot in the lineup on a elc. I have a feeling Guerin won't shed a tear on losing Dumba and his $6 million cap hit for a pick or prospect.

This is where you are wrong. Wild love him, & already probably has a handshake deal with Seattle to protect dumba, & Talbot, or will give assets to protect them

Doesn't matter if calen Addison is ready or not

Wild aren't just going to take a trash comical proposal/ offer for dumba

If I were the Wild I would try my best to convince Suter and Parise to waive their NMC as the Kraken would not take either with out putting a pick in their pocket
