I don’t think Montreal would do that. One step forward two steps back by making that move IMO. If that’s what it would take don’t think they will be in on it

Or MTL keeps a decent and cheaper future #1 C, their future top 4 LHD and RHD, and their first round pick.... 3 guys who will make our team better at more than one position for around the same cap hit than Eichel.

MTL is all about depth, not one superstar or two superstar on a team filled with scrubs.

I counter this KK + price + Drouin + Byron + a first for Eichel - and I say that knowing you will say no.

MIN would probably pass on that. It's a reasonable package, but I just don't see Guerin giving up that much. I think the market price is ultimately going to keep MIN out of the bidding.

In some of the trades, it's not practical as not enough cap is going back to the Sabres.
I can't see the Canadians trading Suzuki, KK they would trade.

Yeah, that's way too may top tier assets for Columbus to be giving up given the risks around Eichel.
