    Maybe, once Sutter got his system fully implemented they actually looked really competitive, it was just too late by then. Ward never should have been brought back in the first place after throwing the Dallas series

    Well I would see what it would take for Seattle to take Giordano(a 2nd or something or even for free) Backlund stays to help develop Pelletier and Gawdin(I think they make the jump) Keep Lucic. He and Tkachuk are really the only physical presence we have. See what offers we get for Gaudreau and Monahan. If there is an offer we can't refuse take it if not keep them.

    Backlund won't be moved, Flames need him to mentor the kids next year

    I believe there will be Gaudreau offers out there just not good enough. IMO Monahan would have a lot fewer offers because he's been so inconsistent lately.

    I don't believe there will be a great deal out there. It's a lose-lose situation for Calgary

    See what he does in the pre-season. If he doesn't look ready don't rush them. Same with Wolf. I don't think he will but see what he looks like in the pre-season. If he looks ready we can either have him as the 3rd string(playing in AHL hopefully with no quarantine) or Backup and have the backup we signed as the 3rd string. I don't think he will be ready tho

    Gaudreau won’t be traded he is the flames best player, and monahan is unlikely because of his injury
