If we don't rush him to the NHL, when do you think Dustin Wolf will be ready? I am thinking maybe 22-23 or 23-24. What do you guys think?

2024? But I think the Flames organization might trade him in 2023 if he doesn't look promising.

hard to say, Hart just had a real rough year and I think that is partly due to rushing him. As a backup for Markstrom I think the earliest we should bring him up is 23/24. But if he lights up the AHL next year that's kinda hard to ignore

They wont trade him before age 25. His playstyle is so similar to Saros (partly due to height), and he just had a major breakout at 26

I feel like if we aren’t competitive near the end of next season he might play a game or two, and then play as our backup the season after.

Dustin Wolf will be ready for a full time role for the 2022-23 season. I think one more year of starting in the AHL will be good enough development, maybe letting him play a game or two in the NHL this coming season.

Goalies are weird like this. You just never know. Whenever he has a good AHL
season, you bring him up. Until that point he doesn’t play
