Anaheim says hell no
LA probably says no, but it'd be a bad deal if they did it
EDM says sure

Eichel is not worth anything near that much.

Henrique does not have negative value to ANA, with all our RFAs resigned we should be around 20M in cap space. ANA has zero reason to include him in a deal as negative value

BUF will 100% need to take back cap in any Eichel deal and any cap they take back will not affect the return

ANA does not make sense as a destination for Eichel, We only had 6 more points than them, selling the farm in any capacity to improve our team by at most 15 points in the standing makes us slightly better now and much much worse in the future

If Pulju has a decent playoffs I don't think so. Adding another small winger to Yam, Kahun, Nuge is not ideal. Pulju is probably the best 2 way winger the Oil have rn (more effective than RNH 5v5 imo). Not saying the value is terrible, the fit just doesn't make a lot of sense - don't need more PP guys in EDM like Olofsson.

No way the ducks Trade all that for Eichel and I don't see LA trading that either considering both LA and the Ducks are in a Rebuild

I don't think Buffalo agrees to the Edmonton deal.

Regardless of how productive you think either player finishes their career, Olofsson is the more valuable asset right now. Bit of a sheltered player sure, but he scores like it's his day job. I don't think the Sabres get enough value there.

It’s not going to take 6 years for LA and Anaheim to contend again lol

You should seriously temper your expectations for what an Eichel trade looks like. Even if Henrique's deal was absolutely crippling for The Ducks (its not. It's not good, but it doesn't really matter) you aren't getting two top 5 prospects and a top 5 pick. I get where Sabres fans are coming from, but I just don't see a world where they win the Eichel trade.

Make the playoffs no, being a cup contender takes a while.
- Pittsburgh took 6-7 years after Fleury, 5-6 after Malkin, 4-5 after Crosby
- Chicago took 4 years after Kane, 5 after Toews, 8 after Keith
- LA took 7 years after Kopitar, 9 after Brown
- Tampa took 5 after Hedman, 6 after Stamkos

No thanks. I’m the one oilers fan that will say that I am not accepting a trade involving Puljujarvi unless the teams, are severely overpaying.
