That deal definitely gets you in the conversation for Eichel. Might not get it done based on other offers but nice work.

Fair value on both trades but I don't think Anaheim accepts because the one thing that the Ducks have is a surfeit of bottom-6 forwards. One can argue with some truth that aside from Trevor Zegras and Max Comtois, that's ALL we have.

As long as it doesn't prevent youbdomt signing barkov the following season why not. If only that Bob contract was gone.

Buffalo atleast will want eichel out of the division, preferably the conference, so prepare to offer more if you want a chance

Not doing that Ducks deal
Eichel to Florida is not out of the question, but It doesn't really make that much sense when we already have great C depth

With bonuses you're over the cap, and Barkov and other to sign 22/23.

I thought bonuses were calculated into the cap space on here, no?

No. Let's imagine the cap hit 81.5, and the teams cap is 80.0, and a team has potential bonuses of 5m. At the end of the year the team has to payout 4m in bonuses. The team would pay 1.5m to reach the cap in this year's cap. Then 2.5m would be carried over into the following year, in effect reducing the teams ability to spend to the cap.
