Devon Toews isn’t going anywhere. Jost also same thing. Landeskog, Halak, Makar, Grubauer and Coleman will get more than that

To my knowledge the point of the AGM is showing the worst case scenario
    Idk exactly tho

Nah man. Toews gets protected. EJ either waives or gets bought out. Also most of the contracts are off by a million or two.

Nichushkin to Ottawa is interesting, but I’d be worried he would be “Dallas” Nichushkin and not “Colorado” Nichushkin...

by damage do you mean damaging their roster by doing moves that actively hurt the team
    Toews in expansion....not happening
Nuke and Jost for nothing returns...not happening

    This is just bad

dont worry, Nichushkin is worth well beyond a 5th round draft pick, I think this is just a trolling roster with how bad the moves are

I’m not worried about the return, since it’s a Col blowup thread, just if Ottawa would be interested in the player. I like Nichushkin, but I don’t trust Nichushkin, lol.

Nichushkin had great underlying numbers in Dallas as well, at the very minimum you are getting a lockdown defensive player and a guy who is a relentless forechecker. Thats why the Avs targeting him when he was bought out, and why he would cost well beyond a 5th round draft pick, a 2nd is more realistic

With DJ smith, he wouldnt know how to use Nuke, its more the coaching staff the player

It's almost certainly a worst case scenario theoretical

How can it be a worst case scenario when you get Makar on 8x6, Grubauer under 5M and Landy under 6.5M?

its not even theoretical, Avs lose Toews bc? they dont protect him due to Erik Johnson not waiving his NMC....well that isnt goign to happen, but then he has him on LTIR. SO hes so hurt that he cant play, wont waive, and avs wont buyout.

Not an ounce of effort was put into it.

And the concept of this roster is avs loading up to make some damage, its not worst case scenario roster

Jost is probably more valuable to Colorado than a 3rd round pick. That pick is more valuable to Detroit than Jost. Not good trade partners.

Well I'd be more than happy if the contracts were that low but they won't be and the Avs will keep Jost, Nichushkin and Toews. Toews won't be exposed and the other two won't be traded. Some (most) of the signings are just bad or unnecessary. IF the contracts were that low (signings and re-signings) I wouldn't be opposed to a Savard or Gudbranson signing though.
