The Blues don't want a tiny LD and they don't need Strome. What else ya got?

Not a terrible offer, but I think the Blues would prefer a good prospect that they don’t have to protect in the draft and can help add to their next wave of young players. What prospects would you say are untouchable?

Hopefully, because the rangers shouldn’t be paying that much for him.

Nah. Several teams would probably beat that offer.

Reports are that Sabres have no interest in trading Jack to the Rangers and want to send him to the west coast. Rangers are gonna have to blow the doors off to get Jack over another team. The Sabres ownership is so spiteful that they would probably take a lesser deal somewhere else if they have to.

Then that’s what’ll happen. But why are they spiteful to the Rangers? Doesn’t make sense. We haven’t traded with you guys recently.

Not too many teams have the combination of cap space, available high end prospects they're willing to part with, and close to being a contender (Eichel doesn't have interest in joining a team going into a rebuild). This being the case- the last thing Buffalo would be doing is airing out that they have no interest in dealing him to one of the few teams that meet the above criteria. If there is any truth to this...then the Rangers should just put their own modest to lowball offer out there and walk away from the table...with nothing essentially to bid against, no way does LA include Byfield or Turcotte in their offer.

The Jimmy Vesey trade wa...just kidding. No one cares about Vesey. It's either they want to send Eichel West to face him less or they're smokescreening in the hope of getting NYR to up their offer.

Of course, it's still possible Pegula's just lost it again.

With Chytil everything else needs to be reworked. Sabres dont give Eichel to the Rangers without getting Laf. Too many factors. The Rangers are really not the front runners

Time to be disappointed cause Laf isn’t on the table and we walk away. Good luck getting LA to part with ByfIeld if we’re not in the running. There’s not gonna be a bidding war with half the league.

Dont want Byfield, LA has plenty of other assets that Buffalo needs

A backup goalie and a bottom six forward are not worth a 2nd round pick. Pass from Detroit.
