Pittsburgh would probably rather have your second round than a third and fourth imo

Way, way too much for Wings to give up for 16m in cap from the Sabres. Wings would be a million times better off keeping those picks and spending 16m on good UFAs

Even though it's under the Athletic that's not getting us Jack Eichel, Your signings are way under. Bertuzzi's qualifying offer is $3,500,000 x 1 you can't pay him less and that takes him to free agency and Yzerman wont do that. For 6 years Hronek gets closer to $5,500,000 or $6,000,000 same with Vrana he'll probably get the Mantha deal 4-5 years @ $5,700,000 or $6,000,000 per season. You can't trade Brome's rights unless you qualify him and i doubt Yzerman will. And Detroit's not surrendering no 4th round pick to move Panik to Seattle you take him as is. No thanks on Pettersson and Eriksson.

FYI Okposo lessens Eichel's value, Detroit's basically giving up 3 1st round picks+3 2nd round picks to take on Eichel+Okposo+2021 4th round pick Hell No.

Okposo is bought out in a year, and the Sabres will have plenty of cap room this year, its pointless

Yeah makes the most sense, Anyways Adams isn't dealing either Okposo or Skinner on top of Eichel only to diminish his value.

I'm pretty sure Detroit doesn't want to start their rebuild over so you can cross them off the Eichel list.

STL will want more for Dunn,

Seattle won't take Pánik with the other unprotected players Detroit has.

Of course I'd accept the Vancouver trade but there is NO WAY Vancouver would. As it looks now Vancouver is going to have a better chance of getting the #1OA than Detroit. I do think to move both of those players to the same team. Vancouver will have to give 1st but not a lottery pick.

I have reservations about Pettersson. He is in just about every Pittsburgh ACGM and I haven't seen any Penguins fan saying we should keep him. With 4 seasons left on his contract and a cap hit just under $5M a season.

I didn't read who posted it . That would be like me posting the Montreal Canadians line up. That would sure explain why it was so bush league.

Rebuilding teams don't trade away 1st round picks unless they want to be stuck in an eternal rebuild, especially for a player that wouldn't elevate them beyond mediocrity. Not a knock against Eichel, but this team has some major holes to fill as is. Eichel doesn't get them to the playoffs, let alone to cup contention.
