except the Avs stars were all at/over a point per game. Its still a disappointing end but losing a close series to the 2nd ranked team while youre missing your 2C isnt a reason to blow up the team. Keep as much depth as possible, bring in the highly touted prospects, make some adjustments to improve and try again next year. Look at WSH from '15-'17, not every team needs to make massive changes, especially when the series have all been so close
Check out my simple math above.
You fill in the blank (and lets just focus on the KEY cogs):
Why does this sounds exactly like the leafs except for the stars part.
isnt that the important part? the stars performed but they lost in a close series. besides that at least 12 teams every year are eliminated in the first 2 rounds. all of those teams plans should be to do this:

Nathan MacKinnon's Game 6 post-game press conference was something. "I'm going into my ninth year next year and haven't won sh*t" pic.twitter.com/0yBiQzxBpW
Well my official bracket is deceased, none of my conf finalists were right, one of my secondary bracket got 1 conf finalists right and my “unrealistic bracket got 2 ( I thought why not make one where Montreal wins the cup, apparently it’s not that far fetched, also gave the Islanders a shot )
I have to get caught up on this thread, and I'll do that later, but without having read any posts here since the game ended, I'm guessing there are people saying Colorado needs to make big changes in the offseason ...
Avs D was very young and inexperienced and it showed. Graves, Nemeth, and Girard all made poor defensive plays at key moments in this series. But Cale Maker has solidified his position as the #1 D in the league right now. His defensive play incredible.
#1 offensive d maybe, I don't think he's better than Hedman.
