That's a little bit more than I'd like to pay for Eichel, but it's certainly both reasonable and defensible, and much more realistic than most Buffalo fan fantasies. But as my fellow adherent @QuackAttack says, we're not solving your goaltender problem for 6 whole years without Cozens coming back.

Not true. Most of those to which I've objected involved both Byfield and Vilardi or Turcotte and Vilardi or Bjornfot and our 2021 first-round pick etc. and always had the value of at least five (not four) firsts. Note that this trade does NOT include the 8th or 9th overall pick.
