Jbinn deal inspired by how legacy conscious and intense he seems in podcasts I think he'd definitely leave familiar STL for huge potential glory in EDM

Couple of issues here...one is trading Barbashev because if money despite the fact Kerfoot makes more than Barbashev will make. 2, Binnington showed in the last few weeks what he's capable of. Do I think he's overpaid and we should move the contract? Yes, but I dont think Koskinen is the answer as we need Hofer and Ellis to develop properly.

Oilers pass. It’s a pretty good year for UFA goalies just go for one of them instead of paying that ridiculous price for JB.

A few minor little baby major problems. I'll just go from the top down.

    - Zero use for Boyd and even less for Helm, and somehow even less than that for Nemeth.

    - Faulk is not being exposed, and we're sure as all hell not paying Sunny to Seattle for any reason.

    - This Toronto deal makes no sense at all. We're not eating a bunch of cap for Toronto AND handing them a good value-for-cap guy in Barby. The Blues will almost surely re-sign Bozak to a much cheaper short term deal, keep Barby and keep all the cap space, thanks.

    - Edmonton is not doing that. And the Blues wouldn't want all that extra trash in there even if the Oilers would do it.

On the other hand, there is a timeline after the expansion draft where i'd be cool with the Bellows maneuver - Army won't do it, but it would be acceptable.

What 3 defenseman are you protecting if Faulk is one of them?

As of right now, Colt, Faulk and Dunn. But I go back and forth on it.

i feel like you have to protect Krug. He has the game breaking ability on the powerplay that is hard to replace

He also has the lack of strength and annoying mistakes that have caused a lot of problems in our zone, plus a much bigger cap hit.

Faulk has played as good or better this year than Pietrangelo every played. It's a different discussion on if Faulk can keep this up for years to come. But there's less than 0 chance of Faulk being exposed nor should he.
