Why not keep Nylander and get Savard?

With the top 2 lines getting a ton of ice time, the bottom 6 should be filled with veterans who do the dirty work and hit people.

Because people think Nylander can’t play “playoff hockey” because he isn’t a physical player.

They completely ignore all the stats that they he’s good because “he’s not physical”

Kerfoot is not worth the protection spot that NJ would have to use on him and it's a worse idea to give up Clarke to get him. This trade is even worse for NJ than the Johnsson trade has proven to be.

I figured and thats why the bottom 6 should be filled with the hitters to protect the guys and make Toronto harder to play against. As a non Toronto fan, I don’t mind if they choose not to be harder to play against.

Why trade a 2nd for Korpisalo when you can sign Ullmark or Driedger as a UFA?

Why would Carolina trade their only RHD under contract for next year for William Nylander? Would need more than that to even get an answer more than just being laughed away. Pesce is just too valuable to Carolina for this to make any sense without Dougie being extended.
