NSH should 100% accept that. Hintz should be untouchable for DAL though -- can't see it happening.

Dallas declines. Not moving Heiskanen most likely.

Stars decline, no reason to take on 10 mil in salary when Miro is arguably the more valuable piece and is/will be cheaper due to signing in an income tax-free state.

I don't think BUF would target a high end offensive LD in an Eichel trade

Trading Eichel for a defenseman isn't a good idea at all.

What is that Ekholm trade? He’s a 30 year old defenseman on an expiring contract. Hintz? No chance

Big no from Dallas on both deals. Hintz is untouchable and Heiskanen has more value right now than Eichel.

How do you expect to fit the cap? Gurianov will get a 1.25 raise, JRob will get a 4 raise, Otter will get a 3 raise, Ekholm will get a 3 raise, Klingberg will get a 3 raise and Risto a 1.3 raise, which all of that is 15.55 million dollars added. Pavs and Rads will drop 13.25 million dollars of cap relief. In total you have to shed 370 k for next year to fit the cap. And the year after that Harley and Dellandrea will want a combined 5 million dollars.

Risto ain’t getting a raise. He’s not very good at hockey

He’s still a half decent player, and his cap is retained in this deal. Either way if this would be our D core we’d be f*cked.

Yes he is.

In what world. Top pairing dmen are a dime a dozen. Not many teams have a top 10 C less than 25 signed for 5 years

In what world are top pair D dime a dozen? Heiskanen hasn't even entered his prime yet. He's playing Norris level D on his ELC. He's an RFA so he'll cash in on a Long term deal or a bridge deal.

None of them are as good as Heiskanen is. He's Norris level. Drysdale just came into the NHL. Good Lord.

I submitted in accident there is a whole list.
Also hesk did not play at a Norris level this year the first half of the year was rough.
He is great. Not taking much away from him I would be happy if he was on my team but he is not more valuable than a top 10 C in the league.
Centers have by far the most value

I would expect you to say that as a Sabres fan, and that's fine, but give me the 21 year old top pairing d man who's yet to sign a big contract over a Center costing 10 million bucks a season coming off a serious neck injury

Disk herniation really isn't that serious. The serious part in question is whether or not he gets surgery and that surgery hasn't really been done before on an athlete.
That I can agree on.
Assuming he makes a full recovery your point is invalid.

Right, and since we don't have a crystal ball in front of us, we can't assume he makes a full recovery. So my point is valid
