I think that for Eichel the package would have to start off with Jarvis.

That is a damn good package. I think Bean qualifies as the NHLer here.

Something like Jarvis, Suzuki, Bean, Bokk for Eichel and Olofsson?

I know it’s unlikely but Buffalo probably asks for Necas, then get turned down. Then ask for Jarvis ++

Its closer than you think but '22 1st, especially because Carolinas pick should be 25+ this year, and replace Bean with Jarvis

Imagine you can include Gardiner in the Eichel trade and then send Skjei to Seattle. Maybe even get Staal to waive somewhere, this team would be in amazing shape

Man Canes would be scary with Eichel. I always thought of them as a kind of fringe contender but they're for real

Some combination of Necas, Jarvis, and Bean would be how this conversation has to start.

To get Jarvis, because there's no way he's in an Eichel package otherwise

Necas for Eichel we're talking Necas and... maybe a 2nd. He's FAR too good to be in this convo especially when we're talking about an injured Eichel coming off a down year.

Necas.

That is met with laughter. Necas is a 60+ point winger over 82 games this year. You want a PACKAGE with Necas? That's laughable.

We’re talking about a down year where he wasn’t healthy the entire time and still managed basically a point a game. As good as Carolina already is, Jack Eichel is immediately your best player. I wouldn’t be that concerned about this injury, he’s expected to be ready for training camp regardless of where he’s playing.

But if Necas is such a deal breaker then I’d say be prepared to offer Jarvis, Bean, and your 1st rounder as a conversation. Starter. It won’t be that high, so it’s not much of a loss. I would still expect other teams to potentially beat that offer.

Staal playing like he did this year is worth his deal. Skjei's been meh and Gardiner's well worth his contract. If Skjei goes to Seattle, we're fine.

Aho, Svechnikov > Eichel, but not the point.

Jarvis and the 22 1st might be as far as Carolina goes, because of how good Jarvis is. No reason to overpay for someone who's coming off a mismanaged injury, and showing signs of regression.

It’s funny how much ppl are bringing down Eichel. Last year it was Eichel vs Matthews. This year Matthews raised his stock to #3 centre in the league and Buffalo was terrible and Eichel got injured. I still think Eichel is better than Barzal . I’d say him and Aho are both equal

That package with Jarvis barely gets you over the line for Eichel

Agree with almost everything, except Carolinas pick is going to be pretty high, therefore not that valuable

I think you and I are on the same page, but when I say it’s not going to be a high pick I mean it’s not going to be outside of 20 or lower. Not much of a loss in the grand scheme of things.
