I don't think they can afford it. They're going to have 14 mil in cap space before trying to sign KK and between Buch and Strome, that's going to be 10+ mil. So it's moot.

I mean consider this: Pavel Buchnevich has 3 more points than the HIGHEST Habs scorer over the past 2 seasons and he did that without playing on the top PP unit..... Now consider that Strome has 14 MORE points than Buchnevich over that time frame.

You're giving away an absurd amount of production at a fraction of what you should be.

I mean you're looking at closer to a 1st + A- prospect just for Strome. and A Mantha type return for Buch. Take that and put that in your deal and see if it looks as ridiculous to you as it does to me.

No chance Hyman is leaving Toronto. They would trade Nylander to clear cap space for him. Also, he will be closer to 5-6 mill per year for 4-5 years
