Fixing the Wilds cap situation

Description
Look guys. I think the Parise trade is very unlikley, but If Minnesota could make a trade like this happen, i would pull the trigger. Even If both 1st rounders from this years draft had to be a part of the trade.

As for the contracts i signed the big three RFA:s to, i could see everyone get 500k more AAV + longer term, especially Kaprizov.

When all this is Done they still have capspace for a rental for the 2022 playoffs, and capspace to resign Greenway and Kähkönen during the Offseason.

Seattle gets a Young good prospect, a 1st- and 2nd rounder to take om Parises contract and then buy him out. Due to recent events, i would not be suprised If he waived hos NMC.

I think you solved a problem that doesn’t really exist. The current roster is at 28 players and has almost 4 mil in cap space. You’ve essentially traded Dumba for Glandening here….

I think Eriksson Ek makes 1m too much in that deal.

Kaprizov is fun as hell to watch, but his one year doesn't get 35m. I think 5m/3year.

Parise isn't waiving to go to Seattle. Parise isn't helping wild. Especially after benching, & his dad's death the only team he wants to play for is NYI

We as fans need to stop thinking parise is going to waive for a starting/ building team.

It's not realistic. Parise has said he will only waive for a contender, & a team like islanders his team played for

This is such a bad dumba proposal. Wild aren't trading dumba to dump 1 year of rask

Honestly happy he’s ripping it up down there. Fenton should have at least gotten another pick out of the deal but I’m happy that we have 1 less year of a lower cap hit. Even if it is Rask.

You gave up a genuine top 6 winger for a cap dump... and you're happy?

He just didn’t fit the system, and our cap situation is not great. I would also be much more upset if we also didn’t get Fiala. I’m under no delusions that the Wild “lost” that trade but it’s working out for the time being.

That brings him directly to his first year of UFA eligibility. No thanks. I'd rather do a 1 year prove it deal and be ready to pay big on the next contract or go long term. A 3 year deal is literally the worst option.

I forgot he was older. Thought 3 year would bring up to last year of RFA. Then I'd suggest a two year.
