1.
PHI
Upside Offensive-Defenseman. Incentive to take with pick. No long-term commitment.
    SEA
    1. Gostisbehere, Shayne
    2. 2021 3rd round pick (PHI)
    2.
    PHI
    1. 2021 2nd round pick (NYR)
    Additional Details:
Wings have so many picks. Why not throw a dart at an elite talent who has underperformed. If you miss no harm. If you hit you could get a top 6 forward for a bargain.
    DET
    1. Patrick, Nolan
    Additional Details:
Flyers center ice is deep and I do not see them letting Patrick play 4th line minutes. Recoop a pick and move on.
    3.
    PHI
    1. 2022 5th round pick (WSH)
    Additional Details:
Veteran D-Man on expiring deal. Can be the 6/7th man who can log back-end minutes.
    WSH
    1. Braun, Justin
    Additional Details:
Defense is going to get a makeover for sure.
    4.
    PHI
    1. 2021 4th round pick (PIT)
    Additional Details:
Solid bottom 6 checking forward. Low risk. Flashes skill, but inconsistent.
    ARI
    1. Aubé-Kubel, Nicolas
    Additional Details:
Seemed to fall out of favor late in season in Philly. Too many careless penalties. Flyers tend to retool bottom 6 forwards.

With that cap space, you should sign someone better than Elliot to backup Hart -- or play 1A/1B with him. Bernier, Raanta, Reimer, Driedger, etc.

I think they stick with that tandem one more year. The goaltending was sub-par but they were left out to dry so many times. I see your point, but Hart hopefully is on a bridge deal which will increase drastically in a few years.......hopefully. Have to resign Coots, Farabee, Frost, and maybe even Giroux. Gonna need some Cap.

Fair points. The bottom 6 is pretty expensive, so I wonder if they try to find some $$ by cutting costs there when the top guys need new deals. I could see a 2 x $3m deal for Bernier or something and maybe you’re able to shave off $500k off of Hart’s salary. $5m for a goaltending tandem is pretty darn cheap compared to a lot of other teams. 1 year of Holtby could be interesting too.

They most certainly have to do something. The Flyers are in the state of they have the talent to compete, but they are also one bad year away from a potential rebuild because of the flat out inconsistencies in this core/team. I have no clue what they are going to do this offseason which is exciting. However, I am totally prepared to be let down. haha

Would you take a 3rd for Patrick? I know he could still have some upside but his poor play combined with an injury history is a bit concerning.

Personally, I wouldn't but who knows what the Flyers would do. I am not 100 percent I would deal him for a 2nd. I do understand if they did though. Patrick has shown flashes of skill, but this year was just not good. They moved him up and down the lineup. Gave him top pairing line mates and he just looked lost. His lack of hustle and losing puck battles was most concerning.

Did Patrick have the stem cell surgery for his concussions?
