I gotta say...the more and more I think about the Seabrook-Killorn deal, the more I like it. Don't think Yzerman would want Seabrook's contract, but on the other hand, very good chance they lose Killorn for nothing in the expansion draft. And they only have two defensemen really worth protecting, so Seabrook would be their third. Also, where's Hartman?

How would a team that is going to be so close the cap for the foreseeable future, want to make it even harder? With a player on the wrong side of 30 and declining and signed long term. This is the equivalent of trading Seabrook to Anaheim or Minnesota for a forward. Or maybe Chicago trading for another established goalie like Fleury. WHY????

Then you have the fact that Seabrook has a NMC. Why would he accept a trade out of his one and only team?

I gotta say the more and more I think about this, the more I wonder how anyone can justify this making any sense in any way.

Not following your first part...is that about Chicago? That move helps their situation. Tampa will have space because Bishop probably won't be back. As for Seabrook waiving his clause...Tampa is as much a contender as many teams, especially with him in the fold to bolster the blue line. Not saying it's likely, but it's not crazy.

Keep TVR. There is no need to get Seidenberg. Recall Pokka for the RHD spot.
I guess I'd take the Streit deal if Philly wanted to do it. The price seems pretty low but maybe that's the value at the deadline if nobody is looking for a D rental.
Its going to take more than a 3rd to get Vanek. I would like to get him though.
Pass on the Arizona deal. Especially if they get Killorn and Vanek.
Panarin - Anisimov - Kane
Vanek - Toews - Hossa (Hartman)
Hinostroza - Killorn - Hartman (Hossa)
Rasmussen - Kruger - Kero (Tootoo)

Keith - Hammer
Campbell - TVR
Kempny - Pokka

As far as the Tampa deal goes, its not that crazy. The only thing that makes it complicated is Seabrook's NMC. If he were to waive it then the trade is 100% reasonable and makes sense for both teams. And its not SUPER out of question that Seabrook waives it for a good, young, cup contender.

as a blues fan- again SUCK IT HAWKS
as a NHL fan- I was gonna rip the Seabrook Kilron deal but most of you are right, Tampa would prob lose him to LV and Seabrook would give tampa a gritty edgy dman. it would work.
doubt it happens but A+ on the idea
