Don't know if Leddy is bad or just horribly unlucky. He had some really strong moments tonight in all three zones, but he was also partially (mostly?) responsible for two of the goals against. In any case, I can't stand the fact that he's playing 20+ minutes and find it really frustrating that we've pigeonholed ourselves into the same 6 guys on D. Like I'd love to see a Hickey/Mayfield pairing, but you're not going to throw Hickey to the wolves after months of not playing.

I don’t think we can afford to take out any dman other than Hickey. Leddy makes mistakes sometimes, but I also gotta cut him some slack considering he plays with Scott Mayfield, the king of dumb mistakes. Leddy is probably our best pp qb (sorry but Pulock never hits the net), and he’s very mobile. I def don’t think he’s the problem and he’s only getting those minutes cuz there is no one else to give them too. Pelech and Pulock can’t play the whole game, and I’d like Greene’s ice time limited as much as possible. I feel like I always bring this up, but trading Devon Toews really screwed up our defensive depth

yeah idk it a flukey play, Pens are such a fast team id be shocked if he switches up the D, I don't think he has any interest in putting Hickey in and I would imagine Trotz knows that Coburn couldn't keep up with the pens forwards, He usually put Coburn in against slower, more physical teams like the caps and flyers.

Hickey skates pretty well so I def wouldn’t mind him coming in for Greene

I wouldn't mind it either, Im looking at it from trotz POV. He has shown no interest in getting hickey into games. Our biggest issue is breaking out of the Dzone because of the pens speed, so would he really put in Coburn? lol that would be rough

It's hard not to bring it up. Losing him was like losing a finger (you're not dead, but having all my fingers makes me so much more functional). Hopefully they address 2LD in the offseason.

I really don't want to have to worry about Coburn coming in lol at least wahlstroms spot is safe, I think. He's played great IMO. Palmieri missed wahlstroms back pass on the breakaway and then wahlly also had. nice ally oop pass that palmieri couldn't;t convert on. Also been playing physical. Of course I want the isles to win the series but if we lose id be content if dobson and wahlstrom play well.

leddy has mental lapses at the worst times its so frustrating lol - he's terrible at protecting the slot. I know hes a great skater, but he's really not a good passer and he's slow to make decisions in the ozone. I would probably take him out for hickey.

Personally w the 2 LD situation, I’d let Leddy have it 1 mlre year and let Bolduc and Salo fight for the 3 LD spot, to take it over once his contract expires

I honestly don't know If I can handle another year of leddy lol
