27 minutes for Marner 😳

it could go to 7 games tbh. But if the habs add bubble KK to their lineup, I think the habs take this series. leafs without JT is a huge hole in the lineup. and playoff carey price is back.

I say there's only one viable choice here. Play Spezza as the #2 centre. He has 3.02 points per 60 minutes, has exceeded expectations since joining Toronto, and plays the most similar style to Tavares. He's the only one who can do it.

It's a do or die situation.

Or just play Nylander at 2C

Yup there’s a reason he doesn’t play more minutes despite putting up points, he’s not good defensively. Kerfoot is really the only viable option for the leafs, Spezza would kill us. Despite playing sheltered 4th line minutes all year he’s by far our worst defensive forward analytically. People are also suggesting Nylander but they’ve tried that before and it hasn’t turned out well, he’s a winger not a center. If it’s not kerfoot we’re going to be exiting early.

i think kerfoot would be fine with nylander/marner and galchenyuk.
