With the exception of this game I thought this series had actually been really well officiated. Letting the players play, going 4 on 4 a bunch. But today it got out of hand

My favourite moment of the game tho was Radko Gudas intentionally skating into a stick and trying to milk a penalty. Hilarious.

Game one was solid. Feel like it’s gotten worse with each passing game. Game 1 was one of the best games I’ve seen since I’ve started watching hockey and it’s been over 15 years.

Heck it might take someone to actually die for the officiating to get better. I also don’t really want to hear about teams being screwed over by officials this year cause the canes have been getting screwed by the officials for the past 20 odd years after moving from Hartford. You also can’t speak out against the officials cause if you do your team is assured to get the junior refs who can’t make a good call. It is very difficult to win a game when you have to make 7 on 5 kill for the entirety of a game (other team plus refs).

I really hope it never comes to that cause that’d just be terrible and something that shouldn’t happen in the first place.

I would rather it not happen either but the direction in which the nhl is going that might be what it takes. These playoff series are getting really dirty extremely quick.
