Bishop doesn't even have a bad contract, he's just got a lot of injury problems. When he's healthy he's among the best goalies in the league. That being said, Dallas isn't giving up a first to get rid of him.

This is pretty good overall

Seattle would definitely offer more for Monahan

With how likely it is the last 3ish years of the McD deal will be ugly, seeing them take on a shorter term seems ideal as they could compete by then

It is just hard to predict. People say that Monahan is worthless. Others say that he is solid. I just figured out a 2nd plus stuff would not spark a discussion on Monahan here as he is not the reason for the thread.

Seattle passes without a thought. Taking on 13+ mil in Giodarno and Monahan and giving up 3 draft picks?? Not a chance....

Isles probably pass unless there is an extension. And even then it's a stretch. Leo is expiring next season and Cal the year after that. Taking back Ladd instead would move the needle more if he can't go LTIR
