Description

Have to pay to get rid of Kassian and buyout Neal, need more cap relief

Need to focus on depth this off-season, a 3rd line of Coleman, Haula, and Armia would be a huge addition to what we have now

Yamo gets a cheap bridge deal, hasn't had the best season numbers wise

We get that scoring LW for McDavid in Tatar and a good 2nd liner for Draisaitl in Granlund. Being able to split up Draisaitl and McDavid solidifies the top 6 and makes it really dangerous

Klefbom returns from injury and plays with Larsson, can get sheltered minutes to start by having Mike Reilly step up

Mike Reilly gets a 1 year deal. Advanced analytics say he's a solid defenseman, and he played on Ottawa which had a rough season so those stats are impressive (Also 29 assists)

Petr Mrazeks and Koskinen is our tandem for next season here, I believe Koskinen can bounce back from the rough season he had here. The start hurt him, being run into the ground because of Smith's injury didn't help at all and the confidence was just gone, but if I'm wrong Stalock can step-in and take his duties. Stalock didn't get any playing this season with the Oilers but the season before played with the Minnesota Wild and put up a .910 sv%.

Benson and Marody play with Mcleod on the 4th line. Their line in the AHL was insane, all 3 were leading the AHL in scoring before Mcleod was called up. We can experiment with that line in the NHL and if it doesn't work out we have options that can step-in and help

This is a team I believe can do some damage. This season the OIlers were too top heavy, McDavid and Draisaitl can't drag this team to the Stanley Cup, it's impossible. But with a good supporting cast of forwards and Defense this team can easily do some damage and puts them in the contender level

Bruins would more than likely offer more to retain Reilly for more than that.

I find it hard to believe that some teams wouldn't pay a fourth or a fifth for Kassian. (Surely he's as valuable as Brendan Lemieux or Nic DesLauriers?) For example, I have it on good authority that the Rangers would like to add a little toughness.

I think max I would give Reilly in this scenario is 3 mil, that's also one of the reasons i didn't give Hall a contract because im pretty sure he's staying in Boston, especially after that 1st round series win
