I can’t not think of Kuzy to the Wild but I just don’t know if his antics are something they team wants to deal with.

I doubt they give us a top pair D and a first for Kuzy. 1st+prospect or Dumba+mid pick. Kuzy is expensive and has plummeted his stock due to off ice issues.

That's fair. But it's still difficult to find centers in this league, and Minnesota definitely needs some. Plus there are Seattle expansion reasons that explain why Dumba could be on the move.

I think Minnesota would be willing. They really need some centers. Plus the pairing with Kaprizov would be fun.

Oh, I’m not writing it off but there are some red flags with him. They definitely need centers but Dumba and a 1st is also a tad steep. Maybe there’s something there but it’s more dark horse than top priority for the Wild IMO.

All that is to say it makes sense.

Just because wild need c doesn't mean wild would be willing to trade dumba, & add on a 1st for a player whose numbers trended down for 2 years.

Kuznetsov was in covid protocols 2 times suspended with OVi since for not following covid protocols

1st time on covid protocols: missed 1 month due to not carring about following covid protocols. & getting covid

2nd covid protocols list: again missed closed to 1month or more. & again tasted positive for covid. Missed 1 playoff games due to his own doings

Also, wild GM was brought in to fix lockeroom. Players like greg pateryn was gotten rid of. Staal a c was traded because he became too comfortable. & wild lockeroom had a country club atmosphere

So respectfully, no wild won't. He didn't even trade dumba for Sean Monahan.

The reason kusnetsov will still have value this offseason is because he is a very talented center, he has more than one year left, he is in his prime. Also, the market for a top center in free agency is very dry this year so teams that need a top center will have to give up a decent amount for someone like kusnetsov even if he has issues that lower his value, he still has a decent value because of those other factors.
