He doesn't have arbitration rights either. For sure Ken Holland grinds him down to closer to $2M.

Also, way too much for Tatar, he's 31 later this year and is coming off a 10 goal season. Too much money, but especially too many years. Coleman, too.

Played LW as Freshman, C as Sophomore I had thought.
Didn’t know if EDM sees him as one or the other.

I don't know either, but his path to the NHL is pretty clear at LW, not so much at center. I wouldn't be surprised if he started off his NHL career at LW - many centers do start that way. He's wicked at faceoffs though and very good defensively, so I think a team that didn't have Draisaitl at 2C would start him at center.

This situation - 3C with two responsible veteran wingers - I have no issue with at all.
