I like the goalies but Bozak is off a cliff these days. Probably better to find a trade

He still put up over 0.5ppg, pretty decent out of a 3C role to me 🤷‍♂️

We've been waiting 2 years for the youth in this organization to show up and they haven't. I'm not sure what will change this summer for a lot of them, but I'm just not confident right now. I'd be happy to be proven wrong. I think in 3 years, this team could be really competitive.

Which is exactly what we should be doing tbh. We need an elite centre prospect as that's what we lack in system

I think you could save like 2M by just replacing Reimer with Korenar. Could put that money somewhere more useful.

But otherwise very solid.

It's a better team than least season, but at the same time most teams will have improved too and I don't think this is enough to get SJ back in serious playoff mixes. In fact I think this team probably steps further back next season (though I like the Dreidger signing in both term and cap hit).

Ya being back in the mix for a top pick next season should be the goal for us, as much as DW wants to sell us on the fact that a 3C new goalies and the kids continued improvement will be enough to be back competing in playoffs. That might all be PR spin to sell season tickets anyway...
Hoping for another top 10 pick in 2022 as we really need higher end talent in prospect pool

The signings do make sense in the context of what DW thinks/propagates of what we need, which is a 3C like Bozak who's right-handed for FOs and a new tandem in goal.

But really DW? Like, who you trynna fool at this point lol?? Even Brodie, who's pretty optimistic usually, pointed out in a video I think saying that SJ needs at least 2 WOW moves to get back in the mix next season.
