Johansen is kinda just a throw in. He’s never gonna amount to anything here.

I think Samsonov could be the future here but Vanecek could d well. I’m willing to take a chance on a guy like strome. Drafted third overall in 2015, there’s a high ceiling for him even though he’s struggled in his career. He’s played in two organizations who have heavily struggled to get anything done, so maybe he amounts to more on the caps.

I think we will be looking for a 1st or equivalent in any trade/package involving Strome. He probably doesn't get a 1st alone so a package or cap dump would be considered IMO.

I don’t think it would make much sense for a team to send a first for strome. He’s not proven a ton yet, but he does have a high ceiling. I just think it’s more likely a player for player deal for strome to get sent out of Chicago.

Yes it could be similar to the deal we acquired Strome on where we sent Schmaltz to ARI for Perlini and Strome. As mentioned he won't fetch a 1st alone however being involved in a packaged trade or a cap dump trade should be what Stan focus's his efforts on firstly.
