I am certainly not a leafs fan, but he is easily a top 5 C in the league, at worst 4, and I could also argue point over Drai (but could also argue Drai over Barkov probably)

It could’ve went to anyone honestly. I agree that Draisaitl is definitely a top 5 center in the whole league! Draisaitl has gotten way better at defence this year, but yah last year he was only good on the PK, and not 5v5 defence.

You have the Wild's d-men in the wrong columns. Spurgeon gets all love (he's been the worst of MN top-4 d-men most of the season) and not much is said about Suter other than his ice time is down a lot.

It is nice to see JEE getting some love from the media.

I honestly really struggled with MIN, I disagree on Spurgeon, he's still a borderline top 15 d man imo, and I was thinking do people still think Suter is a top minute munching d man despite being not that good (like not as good as his peak, he's still very good) and not as much of a minute eater anymore, I just couldn't really think of anyone else, like maybe Dumba...???

I think pulock is finally getting the recognition he deserves - the media acts like the isles top 6 is barzal and a bunch of 3rd liners but you can make the argument that eberle was a top 15 rw in the league this season. Beau carried the 2nd line and his gf/60 was 2nd to only barzal.

If you are look8ng at strictly this year then sure Hedman wasn't the unanimous best dman but thats a very small sample size. Hedman is extremely consistent over multiple years and is probably a future HOFer.

Martinez is probably a bit overpaid but is extremely underrated for what he provides. No one ever talks about him because Theodore and Piet are there

You obviously undervalue what Martinez brings, he is well worth those 2 2nds but what he was traded for has nothing to do with him being over or underrated

Clearly don’t pay too much attention to Canes games.

Aho the best player on a team in contention for the presidents trophy. Dougie is very good offensively but only average defensively. I would say both are adequately ‘rated’ but Aho closer to underrated and Dougie closer to overrated.
