It would be pretty wild if Detroit got both Lysell and Beniers, but there is no way Lysell falls that low.
Agreed. I'd be pretty surprised to see McTavish go that high too...My mind is blown that in the limited time that he's played this year, his draft stock would just that high, that quickly.

If McTavish goes at 3. Buffalo will officially have less fans than the arizona coyotes. No matter how big of a hockey city you have, there is now way you could possibly have fans at that point. I really hope no GM's listen to Central Scouting this year. McTavish is still solid though... I could see him going in the 10-15 range.

Agreed. To me, Guenther is the only guy in the top 10 that's stock shouldn't be affected by playing less this year.

Is this a weak draft? Not a draft expert so just curious. Thanks.

Relatively weak. Probably like the lowest talent pool since like 2014 or I don't know. There are still some solid studs like; Power, Beniers, Clarke, Guenther, Lysell, Eklund, Wallstedt, Edvinsson, Hughes, and Johnson.
So Jarmo drafts Xavier Bourgault, 25-year old software engineer from Topeka, Kansas....not realizing Xavier Bourgault, the Shawinigan forward, had been selected a few picks earlier.
