Add the Skinner for Vlasic one to the list as well. At the point that it's not even worth opening a Buffalo or NYR roster because we all know the trades are ones not happening.

His current team is chock full of overpriced aging Veterans on Long deals. I understand he obviously likes the organization. But if there really isn't a decent shot for the team to compete anytime soon, it really isn't that inconceivable to think he could be moved for younger cost controlled assets.

Being able to Draft Lafreniere (albeit under weird and unusual COVID circumstances) was definitely a once in a lifetime occurrence, given what our Draft position was.

Moving up from #7 to #2 the year before for Kakko wasn't all that bad, though. Many past instances that are similar or even crazier (Canes jumping from #11 to #2 for Svechnikov in 2018) than that.
