This trade was originally proposed by a Flyers fan. I added in Johansen but kept everything else the same. Would love to hear more Flyer's fans chime in on this one. I think the value is leaning towards the Caps winning this trade a little bit.

Whats with the Dillon hate? I didnt see much washington this year but his advanced stats show that he was far better this year and is a better D than Jensen and TVR and miles ahead of Kempny.

yeah.. no, I’d rather sign one of the many goalies that should be available than accept that trade

I wish we could get Bear for that package. Caps would have fleeced the Oilers.

I don’t do either of those pieces for vanecek. He’s pretty awful, giving up a young top 4 d and a high pick is just stupid

Hard NO from Philly. Not giving up that much for the Caps to shed payroll.

I liked him and thought he played pretty well this year, especially paired with TVR (when Schultz was out with face problems, wink ), when he was put on the top pair with Carlson he struggled but I think he doesn't belong on the top pair anyway. He's well liked, retrieves the puck fine and is tough. I like him better than Schultz myself but you will get another cap fan who will feel the opposite as me. Caps fans seem split on their opinion of him. BUT, if he or Schultz (hopefully) get picked in the expansion draft, no one will really cry about it because we have LHD Fehrevary who is ready to take on a full time role next year per Brian McClellan.

That would be a hard no from Paul Holmgren. Remember what he did to Richards and Carter for partying too much?
