Danault gets paid more money or goes somewhere else, NYI and Winnipeg matches and Washington declines easily, Kuznetsov is way better than Weber

5 years left of Weber with recapture penalties should he retire to play behind John Carlson seems like a mistake. He also wouldn't crack Washington's powerplay so there's even less reason for the Capitals to do this.

No way Washington, the oldest team in the league, trades for a 35 year old D-Man under contract for another 5 years and give up a center 6 years younger and only get a 7th in return with that contract for an old guy.
