So Colorado loses two decent roster players instead of one? Seattle still gets to take somebody.

And in return they get a 25% chance to have a contributing player 3-4 years from now.

Doesn't seem like a move a contender would want to make.

ever hear of something called free agency? and they can also flip the pick along with something else to actully improve their team. and dont forget that they already ditched 2 second round picks for toews so this would help them

Yes, because as we all know, it's the amount of 2nd round picks a team has that determines their success!!

When your argument involves, well they could do this, or they could this, and if they move this they can do this, it likely means none of that is going to happen.

If they want to keep Graves, they'll make a deal with Seattle.

This is the reason teams didn't trade off a bunch of players before the Las Vegas exp draft, they either lost decent players, or made deals with Vegas to not take certain players.
