this is great and all (if you ignore trade values, pretty sure you overpaid for most and vastly underpaid for RoR) but you’ve only got like 2 forwards that kill penalties lol
Preserving penalty killers was not really the point here.

I understand what ur trying to do, and I know that us Rangers fans go both ways, but we have to find a happy middle between trading some prospects or young players and keeping others. In my opinion it looks like this
Keep
Lafrenière
Kravtsov
Lundkvist
Fox
Miller
Lindgren
Shesterkin
Anyone else including Kaapo or Buch (Not Both) could and should be moved to try and help the team now. I can't imagine moving every single prospect though
Yes, I 100% agree. I should have said that I am not advocating trading
all of them, or doing all of these deals. Was using the trades to illustrate a point. And I agree with your list.
And would want to keep Buchnevich over Kakko.
Too many Rangers want to wait on these prospects, and I'm sure many will be good, but we cannot wait on all of them (we don't even have spots to play all of them)

I saw all I needed when you traded for Seth Jones. Seth Jones.
Yes, Seth Jones. But read the post. It wasn't really about the individual trades. More about taking a certain philosophy.

Might as well not draft at all with this mentality.. trade the picks and fire the scouts. Buy players through OS and FA and trade off picks for other teams prospects at a higher pick price but knowing that it wasn’t a dud. Yes, the approach that no NHL team has ever fully done except around the time of which you are speaking of. OS Bure, pay Holik 9m, I could go on but the point is where did we get with that mentality back then. At least there wasn’t a hard cap in those days so 140m roster with some luxury taxes was actually possible, but still not successful 😂😂
I didn't say that. It is not an all or nothing approach. But we cannot wait around for guys to develop when we have are core in place.
