Korpi for Risto, sure. Merzlikins for Risto, no - his being both the starter AND expansion exempt make him particularly valuable.

Not remotely, him and Tanev were far and away the Flames best defensemen this year. Since Sutter came in and actually started giving Hanifin the special teams time he deserved NH was producing at 0.5 ppg while also being very strong 2-way. He had a very under the radar breakout season
