Description
Since Jones said he's likely to test UFA, NHL fans are making trade offers for him.

There are very few RHD better than Jones by any measure. One of them, Dougie Hamilton, is a UFA this summer.

A Caps fan posted a one for one of Kuznetsov for Jones. The term left on Kuznetsov's contract could make him more valuable alone than Jones, if Jones is likely to leave as a UFA after one year.

But what if WSH could go even higher and include a couple of guys who won Cups in Pittsburgh, to go along with the guy who led WSH in playoff points?

Rather than arguing about who is better, isn't this a really good team? Doesn't it just sail into the playoffs?

    Adding Kuznetsov is going to make it harder to keep Wennberg and Elvis/Korpi/Roz. And given the troubled rumors and stories around him off-ice, I'm not sure I want him at all.

    I don't think it's a rumor that he tried cocaine after leading the league in playoff points, or that he was late to a team meeting three years later. Documented facts. Also, when he scores twenty goals a year, his silly goal celebrations really do irritate both Don Cherry and Artemi Panarin. I'm okay with that.

    Wennberg could be good, but a lot of teams are pencilling him in after he set a personal best for goals in a short year. CBJ has already tried giving Wennberg a long term deal. It could have gone slightly better, probably. But short term, I'm for it. Maybe even trade Domi this summer to clear cap space for him.
