    I don't really get why either team would be interested in this. Jones is a bona-fide top line D that the Caps don't need and Kuzy, while talented, has a lot of question marks and may not live up to his cap hit.

    This is just an awlful deal for Blue Jackets.
    IF they are foolish enough to move Jones.... the Kutznetsov cap dump is just the absolute worst case scenario. I do mean that.... i could not image a worse deal. ( that atleast one person thinks is real)
    Kutznetsov is a CAP DUMP.
    Washington is under no such delusions. He will be sold cheap, very cheap. They want out of Kutznetsov stocks.
    I mean @7.8 mil per!!!

    I think this is a good thought that makes some sense. I just think the Jackets really need to target young assets/high draft pick(s) in a Jones deal, if they don't I feel it would be a mistake in the long run. If this were to happen I don't think they can afford to send a 1st rounder the other way in addition to Jones

    4 years of Kuznetsov for 1 year of Jones, Yeah that makes total sense, All of your UFA signings are too low Ovechkin gets more Danault gets more. Not sure what that pathetic offer is with Driedger
