Relative to their positions, looking at the whole 2020-21 season, Dumba and Kuznetsov were equally disappointing. But in Dumba's case it's due to a two year old pec injury, so the disappointment was steady all season. For Kuznetsov, after a foot injury, covid, and benching limited him to a four point January and February, he produced like a top six center in March and April. So Kuznetsov ended the season better and trending up, compared to Dumba.

Makes sense from a value perspective, not sure washington needs a RD with Carlson/Schultz/Jensen there though. Also, Seattle probably still takes Talbot over Soucy simply because they could get more for Talbot in a trade than Soucy. And Boldy is a LW not a C.

Buffalo would have to say yes to this.

I'm hoping Schultz is gone in expansion or via a trade, so Dumba would be an upgrade for sure.

As far as value goes, I'd like a little more from Minnesota. Like a late second rounder would do it for me.

Don’t know who that prospect is he isn’t even listed as a top 10 prospect I’m minni, a late 2nd and a late third doesn’t get it done unless I missed something about this prospect.

No need for Risto, we have Addison who should grow into a top 4 role next season and Cole can fill in on the 2nd pairing with Brodin while he develops.

On paper that's a really fun top line if Kuzy gives 100% effort.

1 GM said we'd look at trading this guy, the other GM didn't. Wonder which one was a disappointment.
