Schmidt is better on right side. Canucks don't give up a first in that deal this is probably a one for one. and maybe a mid round pick swap.

I know but he's still left handed and Philly will preferably have RHD over a LHD also with Jones stating that he will not resign with Columbus chances of this happening are quite slim.

Philly probably wouldn't do this 1 on 1 there are better options than Schmidt. With Jones refusing to sign with Columbus he's going to be a target for Fletcher meaning chances of Schmidt going to Philly are slim.

Sabres laugh and laugh and laugh and laugh. No one is taking that contract even of they pay them. Vancouver's certainly not getting anything back for Holtby. If Buffalo wants him they'll sign him after the Canucks are forced to buy him out. Now if you want to do a one for one for Jeff Skinner...

Not really we have no reason to trade for him our offense is good enough. If we would trade for JT Miller it would be a 1 on 1 with Konecny + picks to even out i don't think Philly would add any roster players to that deal.
