Description
If you don’t like what I did with your team I’m a Leafs fan so I’m not claiming to have knowledge of every player on your team. I do know though you need scoring and Ry Jo while still quite serviceable had a bad contract. Also I don’t know how you’d protect Fabbro from Seattle with Ellis, Ekholm, and Josi to protect?

Why do you think this makes the Leafs a better team OP?

I’d rather play Ry Jo at RW because he plays a solid two way game and we are a small and weak team

Mitch Marner plays a solid 2 way game, as he's shown this series against the Habs already, and is one of the top scorers in the NHL so how exactly does this make the Leafs a better team?

Mitch has been pretty bad this series so I don’t know what to say to that. It’s just incorrect

I think an ellis for marner swap could work. Nashville gets a good forward to build their future around and the leafs get a good RD.

I’d take that if we could move Rielly

He's a regular season performer, and just like the rest of the Leafs, goes choke choke choke in the playoffs.

Exactly, which is why I don’t understand this obsession among many leafs fans on here that none of our overpaid forwards can be traded. Does Dubas pay his fan boys to sit here and write nonsense ?

Well, he hasn't had a goal against at even strength so that speaks for the 2 way play pretty convincingly and even 'playing badly' he has as many points through 6 games as Ry Jo had with Nashville so the upside is clearly on Marner's side as well. There's nothing incorrect about it.

He scored 3 goals playing with Matt Duchene and Forsberg. Also, he can take faceoffs as he is a centre but I’d play him on JT’s RW. Also, there is the whole making the team bigger part that I said. Marner brings absolutely nothing as far as forechecking goes. Also, we could sign Fabbro and have another RHD with offensive potential

He scored a few more goals playing with 2 stars in a short sample size, means nothing. Marner does nothing as far as forechecking goes yet their line has a dominant amount of offensive zone time, offensive metrics, etc, so thats basically a non-starter when you actually look at the numbers. You are losing a top 5 point scorer in the league this year for a guy who can take faceoffs and is big, and by big you mean literally just size considering he throws less than 1 hit per game. #worthit

And a defenceman who brings a Right handed shot and potentially allows us to move Reilly before he leaves for free the following year. And in what world is Matt Duchene a star player?

Rielly is a left handed defenseman so Fabbro doesn't really have an effect there. He's also not going to play top pairing minutes. The Leafs also have left handed D in waiting already. So really, Fabro is half the man you are saying he is already and I havn't even looked at how he played this season yet but considering the first comment wondering if they are even going to protect him, I'm not sure he's what you want to use to make this seem worth it, lol.

We need a right handed shot from the blue line. That’s the entire point of adding him or someone like him

Why do you feel they need a right handed shot from the blue line? And why do you think a guy who takes about 1 shot a game and shoots 3% is that guy? Hell, this guy barely shoots lmao.

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure Carrier is exempt from the expansion draft.

I was thinking since he didn’t appear in 27 games he wouldn’t be but you’re right. Heck, NSH might be better off protecting 5 D and forsberg, kunin, and another forward not named Johansen or duchene.
