Friedman's speculation idea probably isn't happening; Merzlikins is an expansion-exempt starter and so is really unlikely to be traded barring something really special coming back.

Interesting to see that package for Eichel. Especially coming from a Sabres fan, this is a lot lower than what seemingly the entire fanbase has been clamoring for.

That's not enough for Eichel. Rask is more or less a cap dump, Greenway is merely ok, PIT 1st is closer to 2nd rd value. Need another quality asset at least

why would seattle waste 6 mill on okposo when they could put that money towards like RNH, Hyman, hamilton, hoffman someone who will actually play and make a difference for their team lol. If buffalo is gonna dump okposos contract to seattle it will include a 2nd plus a decent caliber prospect, refer back to anaheim dumping clayton stoners contract to vegas they also had to give up shea theodore along with a pick
