Hughes isn’t a bust but I can’t wait till we have a coach and hopefully he’s played kakko top 6 and he flourishes

So Panarin scores his goals for him and back checks for him and makes all the passes he makes for him? It's a silly statement. Strome benefits from playing with Panarin, but what center wouldn't?

That's true but everyone knows that Strome won't have the same impact on any other team. Ranger fans overrate him like crazy.

Saying Strome is better than Hughes (the initial statement I was referring to) is a stupid statement. Hughes doesn't need all star players to preform

strome is better than Hughes he’s a legit OK 2C. This next season hughes probably passes him thought

I would agree Strome is not better than Hughes simply because Strome is at his apex and Hughes has tons of potential and will become an all star center in time. But non-Ranger fans also underestimate Strome and think his success is 100% due to Panarin, but that simply isn't true. He is a good 200 foot hockey player and since joining the Rangers has produced, and has done it as a reasonable cost. At his cap hit right now, he is a bargain.

Watching the Rangers vs Devils, I definitely noticed Strome, but it was mostly Panarin that was the main factor. Not saying Strome is bad or his success is 100% due to Panarin, but a large part of it is.

Only guy Hughes passes is Merkley...on the way down to the AHL.

Strome is 100% better than Hughes is now or will ever be. Have you watched them play? Hughes cannot stay on his skates.
