sens trade is horrendous, we have no interest in ghost, nor in giving ip dadonov for less than nothing

I honestly don't hate it from a Sens perspective. They move out 11.5 mill in real salary for 4.5 (if PHI pays 2021 SB). This frees up cash for sens to pay an RNH or Krejci. Wing is stacked in the sens system so it isn't a major loss with Dado and Ghost has the ability to rebound.

That was exactly my thoughts. I don't feel like Dadonov has worked out as expected, while Ghost just had a pretty good season and would be a great stopgap on LD.

Sens have Chabot/Brannstrom/Mete on the left side with Sanderson coming, they’re looking to maybe add a RD as a stopgap hntil JBD arrives but should be good on the left side. And Dadonov took a little while to adjust but he was still on pace for 20 goals and I’d imagine his assists numbers will bounce back next year, and I’d rather gamble on the veteran winger who will at least pot 20 than the D they don’t have room for who could either put up 40 points or just suck, while not being good defensively in either case.

JVR and Voracek don't get protected sure they're good players but no one is touching Voracek's contract for free and if they lose JVR its money added to spend in FA other than that I don't mind what you've done just not sure if the Columbus trade is realistic
