The only thing right about this is the title. Marner ISN'T getting traded, and that is such an absolutely terrible return. I don't think a single person on this website has accurately judged Marner's value correctly.

I definitely do not, I'm just an angry leafs fan sick of seeing one of our best players constantly traded tears of joy

In a hypothetical world where this does happen, I'd be very VERY salty. But at the same time, if Seider performs as well as he is touted I'm sure I'll move on. That being said I doubt the Wings move Seider, doesn't seem like a very Yzerman thing to do unless you are getting a ton back. The more I break it down, this is one of the better Marner trades, I'm just not thrilled about the prospect of moving Marner for anything at all.

I understand. I am just tired of Marner. Making that much money and not scoring in 16 playoff games as well as not really playing well in the playoffs. I would like Marner if he'd make around 8m a year

I completely understand that. Mackinnon is my favourite player in the league not only because of his explosive playstyle, but also because of his contract. Not many players around like Mackinnon. Matthews and Marner have both been so infuriating to watch this offseason because it is a complete 180 in contrast to their regular season play and also their price tags. When Kerfoot and Galchenyuk are playing better for you then less then half of your salary when they are combined is ridiculous.

Also egg on my face because I replied to the wrong ACGM tears of joy
I opened your ACGM and another one in a different tab and clicked on the wrong after closing out of my class.

It's very fun to imagine a Sandin - Seider pairing, and then just imagining guys like Niemela and Liljegren playing behind them. As much as I would hate to see any of the top 6 on this team moved, it may be an Islanders situation where it turns out to be exactly what you need.

Yes that is true but saying that opens the door for more arguments. Saying Toronto isn't trading is very true but he's not going to argue that Toronto is trading Marner when they clearly aren't.
