Lmao! Why would you trade a young very talented player before he even hits your roster? Nylander could be the sabres marner.

You're right about Marner. A year younger, less pro experience, seems to a star in the making. By interesting how the Leafs handle Nylander. Last year played exclusively centre, this year RW. Talented guy, if he finds his position and confidence.....Matthews, Marner, Nylander that's a real talented group.

More like Fowler, a good goalie prospect, and a 2nd round pick for Nylander. That trade was a joke.

Reminder here guys that Taylor Hall was dealt for Adam Larsson. That's the market on a young top 4 Defenseman. Also Nylander is not exactly lighting the world on fire in the AHL and seems to have trouble adapting. Bottom line you have to pay up big time for a young quality D-man, they don't pay you.

Nylander has only had half a season in the AHL..... Give him some time before you sell him off. He hasn't even started his Entry Level deal yet so we have plent of time for him to grow into a great player which I think he can be. McCabe has been looking solid playing top pair minutes with Risto. The Sabres issues this year have been all the injuries. Last I looked the Sabres had the second most time missed due to injuries based on player average ice time.

just because Chiarelli made an atrocious trade when he dealt Hall, doesn't mean the Sabres have to do the same!

Not too many 18 year old guys are in the AHL. Nylander of the Sabres is going to be fine. Why do people still throw these red herrings out about Hall/Larssen? Argue a current deal without bringing that trade in. Don't think Oilers have any regrets about the trade either.
